High School Literature

IES is proud to offer an English Literature class that empowers of all abilities to think and engage with thoughtful questions and readings in order to advance their writing and argumentative skills.

Our class theme for the 2019-2020 school year is “How Do We Relate to Others?” Framed as a question, the theme allows students to make deeper connections to the text, with other texts in the class, and make deeper appreciations of the world through literature.

Our High School Literature Class meets Mondays and Wednesdays 10am to 11:15 am. Content and discussions are best for high school students; exceptions may be made for mature middle school students.
