Luckily, microschools do not have the high overhead and can work on smaller budgets without compromising their students! Public education monies are being impounded by the Trump Administration, leaving California short almost $1 million. This cuts professional development for teachers- leaving students to continue to struggle with pandemic learning gaps! Microschools are small enough to know each and every student so this isn’t even a problem!
Can Microschooling work for me?
Yes, it can! While our public schools are doing the best they can, we know our children are not receiving the education they deserve. It’s easy to get stuck in the cycle of dysfunction. Imagine a school where every child is given a chance to learn high interest content (not strategies). Imagine a place where there’s active collaboration (not refusal). This is microschooling! A place where each child can find out more about the world, the people in it, and themselves.

Individualized Educational Services has been microschooling for years! Our classes provide students the opportunity to explore concepts and activities together. Our teaching staff ensures everyone’s learning needs are met- language, cognitive, sensory, and social / emotional. We create the space for learning to efficiently happen.
