Join us for a look at post-civil war United States History! We’ll cover important people, places and dates through contemporary times!
Note: This class meets essential state standards for 11th grade. We will not be covering all pre-civil war events that would be covered in 8th grade.
This class is a BRAIN class! We’ll focus on developing imagery develop for all students and integrate language supports to have a truly accessible for all students.
Our textbook will be the American Yawp, with supplemental maps, primary sources, secondary sources, and current events to practice comparing & contrasting, categorizing, analyzing cause & effect, and more writing styles.
Students are welcome to join in person or remotely.
