We’re proud to be offering a brand new thematic literature class!
Our class theme this year is “What is the Journey of Life?” We’ll build upon this theme by writing each meeting to activate background knowledge, focus opinions, and get ready for class discussions.
Our core literature includes: Macbeth, The Odyssey, A Tale of Two Cities, and The Great Gatsby, short stories, and selected poems / song lyrics.
This is a BRAIN Class for universal access! We are building this class from the group up to be supportive of all learning styles so that all students can start to think about their own journey of life. Students will be able to choose what book they need (such as original source, easier to decode, or graphic novel) in order to comprehend literature. They’ll gain access to our age-appropriate conversations!
Students are welcome to join in person or remotely.
