Thomas Fire Update

Dear Families,

It is with a heavy heart that I write this letter: the Thomas Fire continues to impact my ability to safely operate both in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.

I checked in on my office for the first time since the fire started to see what the current conditions are. The parking lot and court yards are covered in ash, so much you can see foot prints and tire tracks. Ash is inside the office as well and needs to be cleaned.

For everyone’s safety, I will be closing for the holiday break early. Pending the fire status and the ability to safely remediate and clean, I hope to open on Monday January 8th, 2018.  I will be working with the Site’s management team and my insurance to help with the recovery effort.

Aubrie and I will be taking time to plan out lessons and offer even more exciting classes and programs! Please let us know if you have any suggestions!

If you are with Inspire Charter School, please note that I will not bill against your Enrichment Certificates for any canceled sessions.

Please stay safe during this fire! Please continue to check the county website:

Do not hesitate to reach out if I can help with anything over the phone / email / video conferencing.

I hope you can find the time for a break and enjoy the up coming holidays!

Have a safe holiday season!
